Visiting.
When are you open?
We are open Mon–Fri 6am–11pm · Sat–Sun 8am–9pm.
Where are you?
Units 1 and 2, The Admiral Park, Airport Service Road, Portsmouth PO3 5RQ, opposite Hilsea station at The Admiral Park.
Find us →Is there parking?
Yes. Parking at The Admiral Park is free for players and visitors, right outside the club, with accessible bays near the entrance.
Are you cashless?
Yes. Padel Quarter is a cashless club. Pay by card, phone or watch at reception and in the café, and pay for courts and sessions in the booking system.
Is the club accessible?
Yes. We have one wheelchair-accessible court and an accessible toilet, level access from the car park and accessible parking bays. If anything would make your visit easier, tell us before you come.
Is there a café? Can I get a coffee or something to eat?
Yes. The café and lounge sit beside the courts, so you can have a coffee, a cold drink or something to eat before or after your game, and watch the padel while you do. Card, phone or watch only, as the club is cashless.
Can I watch without playing?
Of course. The lounge looks straight onto the courts, so you are welcome to come and watch, whether you are waiting for someone or just seeing what padel looks like before you try it.
Booking and prices.
How do I book a court?
Book on this website, where Padel Quarter is already selected, or in the Padel Mates app. Bookings, changes and cancellations all happen in the same place.
Book a court →How much does a court cost?
£36 an hour off-peak (£9 per player) and £48 at peak times (£12 per player). Off-peak is weekdays until 4pm; peak is weekdays from 4pm, and all day Saturday and Sunday. Members save 10% to 20% on their share.
See prices →How long is a booking?
Courts are booked for 60, 90 or 120 minutes. Pick the length you want when you book and the price is shown before you pay.
Can I hire a racquet?
Yes. A standard racquet is £5 per hour and a premium racquet is £10 per hire. Balls are £5 to buy at reception, so you can turn up with nothing and play.
Racquet hire →How do I cancel or change a booking?
In the Padel Mates booking system, under the booking terms shown when you booked. If you are stuck, call 02394 377743 and the team will sort it.
Do you have memberships?
Yes. Four plans from £15 a month: Concessionary, Bronze, Silver and Gold, with discounts on court hire, coaching, activities and the pro shop, longer booking windows and member-only events. To apply, email contact@padelquarter.net.
Memberships →Playing.
I have never played padel. Can I come?
Absolutely. Padel is the easiest racquet sport to pick up. Book an intro coaching session, join a social, or just book a court with friends. Racquets are available to hire.
Coaching →What should I wear?
Comfortable sports kit and non-marking court shoes (trainers with a clean, flat sole are fine). No running spikes or black-soled shoes on court.
How do I find my level?
Padel Mates rates every player on a scale from 0 to 7. You choose a starting level when you sign up, and the app adjusts it from your match results. The more you play, the more accurate it gets, and the better your matches become. The best way to find your level is a levelling session: an hour on court with a coach, who places you on the scale so every session and match you book is the right one. Look for sessions called Levelling under Coaching.
Book a levelling session →What counts as a junior?
Juniors are players aged 17 and under. Sessions are grouped by age and level, from primary-school beginners to teenagers ready for match play, so every child plays with children of a similar age and standard.
Junior coaching →Can I come on my own?
Yes. Americanos and socials are built for it: turn up on your own and the session puts you on court with players at your level. The WhatsApp community is a good place to find a fourth, too.
Where can I read the rules?
Our rules page has the basics for a first-timer, court etiquette and the level bands. The full rules of padel are published by the LTA.
Rules and etiquette →Community.
How do I join the WhatsApp group?
Scan the QR code on the site or open the link. The Padel Quarter Portsmouth WhatsApp community is where important updates land first.
Join on WhatsApp →Can I book the club for a group, school or party?
Yes. Schools, sports clubs, companies, birthdays and charity days are all welcome. Tell us what you have in mind and we will build the session around you.
Group bookings →Do you offer sponsorship?
Yes. Court naming, event sponsorship, league partnerships and kit are all open to local businesses.
Sponsorship →Still wondering?
Ask the team. We reply to every enquiry.
