Accessibility Statement

Last updated 5 September 2026.

Padel Quarter’s values start with “Accessible”, and that applies to this website as much as to the club. We want everyone to be able to find out about the club, book a court and get in touch, whatever technology they use.

Our standard

This website is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means:

  • Everything can be reached and operated with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator on both dark and light backgrounds.
  • Text and background colours meet the AA contrast ratios throughout, including the yellow-on-black brand colours.
  • Pages have a logical heading structure and a “skip to content” link, and work with screen readers.
  • Photographs have descriptive alternative text; purely decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Animation, including the film at the top of the home page, stops when your device asks for reduced motion. The film has no sound or speech, so no captions are needed.
  • Text can be resized to 200% and the layout reflows on any screen size without horizontal scrolling.
  • Forms have labels, clear error messages and no time limits.

What we know about

  • Court bookings open in our booking system, which is run by a third party. We have chosen it partly for its accessibility, but we do not control it. If you have difficulty booking, call us on 02394 377743 and we will book for you.
  • Google Maps links open on Google’s site, under Google’s accessibility arrangements.

At the club

The club has one wheelchair-accessible court and an accessible toilet, parking on site and level access. Tell us what would make your visit easier before you come and we will sort it.

Tell us

If any part of this website is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, email contact@padelquarter.net or call 02394 377743. We will reply within five working days and fix what we can.

How this statement was prepared

This statement was prepared on 5 September 2026 following a review of the site against WCAG 2.2 AA using automated checks and manual keyboard, screen-reader and zoom testing. It will be reviewed whenever the site changes substantially, and at least once a year.
